How Did You Decide What to Put in the Kit?

Well, it definitely wasn't easy! We did A LOT of research on dogs in general, dog intelligence, the dog thought process, and even human intelligence and intelligence in general. After all that research, we put together a few trial versions of the IQ test and went to work trying them out on dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds.

From those results, we were able to handpick the toys and exercises that were the most accurate in measuring intelligence and were the most fun and challenging to do. We then compiled these exercises into the Pooch IQ Kit you see today and tested it again on over a hundred dogs to normalize the results.
